Quote from London Coliseum:
Jenny Mollica, English National Opera’s CEO (Interim)
“We are delighted to be partnering with Picturepath app to help make the London Coliseum a more accessible venue for all. As the largest theatre in the West End hosting a variety of different shows, from opera to ballet, concerts and musicals, it is a priority for us to ensure that audiences feel prepared for their visit, so that their experience at the theatre is as enjoyable as possible.”
About the ENO:
English National Opera is the national opera company dedicated to one simple aim: creating extraordinary encounters with opera, on stage and beyond. We sing in English to be accessible to the widest possible audience, as well as offering free tickets for under 21s, and for as little as £10 for everyone else.
We create opera that feels different, theatrical and creatively daring and have been doing this to an internationally recognised standard since being founded in 1931 as Sadler’s Wells Opera.
We are passionate about making opera more inclusive and representative of the society in which we live, and believe that positive change for the industry comes from removing barriers to access.
The ENO, creating opera without limits.
About the London Coliseum:
The London Coliseum is the largest theatre in London with 2,359 seats. Built in 1904 by legendary theatre architect Frank Matcham, the glorious Edwardian architecture and interiors were magnificently restored in 2004. The theatre has been home to the English National Opera since 1968, and hosts some of the best entertainment the capital has to offer.
